I’m really happy that we have 6.1. out of the door. Ironically, COVID19 helped to a degree to finish things up but that’s a different story ;) - 6.1 is more than the “.1” increment suggests. The update contains a complete new class of templates, so called Snapshot Templates. You are probably familiar with Kontakt Snapshots already, they’re like preset settings you can save. Make a snapshot, give it a name and you can freeze the state of all the parameters in an instrument. So why did we get into that? Among others, especially Orchestral Tools and 8dio users know how frustrating it is when your instrument only contains a fraction of articulations which are possible and readily available inside. If you want to use them, you need to load them and take a decision on what’s available to the instrument and what’s not. To overcome all this, we made multiple snapshots for each instrument which can be be loaded up into one instance of Kontakt and act like one big instrument. As a result, you have the opportunity now to use all the articulations available at the same time.
Here’s a video which explains it a bit better:

Awesome! Are there plans to make snapshots available for Play instruments as well?

Awesome Tool!
I don't use Cubase or Logic, but I do have Kontakt 6 and Studio One 4.
Can the Articulation sets or Expression Maps be used in Kontakt 6 running inside of Studio One 4?

I just bought Tableau Solo Strings from OT. Very good indeed, I'd be surprised if this library didn't become quite popular given how good it is and it's relatively low (intro) price. Any chance of expression maps for it?

Snapshots aren't loading for me :/ They are in the correct place and showing in the Kontakt dropdown menu, but when i select the snapshot nothing changes. Any ideas? Thanks!!

This is all wonderful, and I adore Art Conductor, but PLEASE - someone tell me WHERE I am supposed to store the snapshots??? Not a single video I've watched has told me - they ALL start assuming any fool must know that! Well this fool didn't....! LOL
