Don't we love the big numbers, not the "dot" releases? Yep. Me too. And now, there's a new one: Art Conductor 6 (Insert Braaam here heh).
This time, we've tried to fill a lot of gaps, make a release which completes the collection. Especially with big manufacturers such as Orchestral Tools with their expansion packs and of course Spitfire also, this makes a lot of sense because there is no point if you're investing into a big library that Art Conductor can't handle the extensions.
We also dipped our feed into unknown terrains by releasing a first Kontakt snapshot that goes along with an Art Conductor template. I have to say, it wasn't my first choice - I always felt that becoming a "content provider" by releasing snapshots is a burden. But then, there would be absolutely no way to control the beautiful Embertone Joshua Bell Violin (using the latest update's default) with an articulation set. Those key switches were just not made with that type of purpose in mind.
Also, we have 8dio. Beautiful new libraries and instruments loading with practically no samples at all. So we will have to make snapshots for those as well and hope for the best, or the water not being to unpleasantly cold. Because a snapshot contain all the settings, all the mixer settings etc. If you're familiar with the details you know why were not so keen.
We saw a lot of famous people starting to switch to Expression Maps and Articulation Sets in 2019. It's just so much more convenient and opens a lot of doors as well. So here's to 2020 and everything we will release this year.
Best, Marc

Hi there,
Can you please tell me the main differences in Art Conductor 7 from 6.6? I wasn't able to find this info on your site.
Cheers,
Glenn
